  • Comment: I purchased this cover for my husband, after we had tried at least three other cases and were not satisfied (time to head to eBay with them). They either didn't have a way to stand the iPad up, or only did it at one angle, or were too bulky, or didn't fasten well. With one, the iPad would fall out when it was opened.
    Based on other reviews, I decide to give this one a try. We liked it so well I bought a second one for my iPad. I've had it several weeks now and am very pleased.
    Some reviewers had commented on the materials being cheap or not holding together. I have had no problems and it seems very well made to me. The fabric is very nice, and while I was afraid the gray would show dirt, it actually cleans up beautifully with a damp cloth.
    Gray was the only color available at the time. I would have bought black because I didn't think I'd like the gray, but once I saw it I actually liked it a lot. It is similar in color to the aluminum of the iPad, so actually "fits" it well.
    The best thing is that it is so slim and minimal it goes into my purse with no problem.

  • Comment: I'm very pleased with this case. It seems well made and feels very pleasant in the hand, like felt, unlike the rather synthetic Apple case. It protects the iPad quite well, with all corners shielded by plastic and I suspect it would save the iPad if you dropped it, unless you were very unlucky (no I'm not going to try). I only gave 4 stars for durability because I'm not sure if it will last a very long time (but I could be wrong). I also suspect it could stain quite easily.

    It stands the iPad up nicely in two different orientations and is very stable.

    A great plus is that it's "not" the Apple cover and I've several users of them come and say: "What's that? Where did you get it? Looks cool? Now that's worth the price alone!

  • Comment: This case is excellent for standing your iPad in different positions for movie watching, typing, etc. It also looks nice and professional, and protects it to some degree. I looked for several months for a case and this one seems to be the best on the market for the price right now.

  • Comment: Has to be my worst purchase on Amazon.
    The form factor is right and useful but the materials and construction are horrible.
    The loop that holds the strap is tearing and will but torn through in a few more days.
    The sewn seams are also coming apart.
    Look elsewhere for your IPad case.
