  • Summary: Don't waste your time
  • Comment: Worst product ever, there is no way to get this product applied without bubbles under the screen. I threw this product out after 1 hour of trying to get them on right, with no success. I bought a more expensive product, (20 bucks) and had it installed in 10 min and it has been great ever since. Pass on this one.

  • Summary: can't expect better than this
  • Comment: Never applied any kind of screen protector anywhere and still I find it easy. Very nice design to apply the protector. All you need from your side is little patience, may be more. I applied mine, 2 tiny bubbles, one on top and one at the bottom, not within the display screen but outside.

  • Summary: Cheap protector, little if any anti-glare
  • Comment: I bought this inexpensive product to cut into smaller pieces to use on my Viliv handheld computer and my digital camera. It was excellent for that purpose, being by far the cheapest way I found to get small screen protectors. I believe there is some reduction in glare, but this protector does not have a matte, flat finish that one would expect from a true anti-glare protector.

As usual with screen protectors, many buyers complain that they cannot apply the product without problems. There always will be difficulties applying a sticking protector to a smooth surface, but correct technique will minimize them. First, clean the surface to which the protector will be applied. Second, align the product as accurately as possible along the longer side of the screen that will receive it and then slowly roll the protector onto the screen. If some large bubbles are trapped as you apply the protector, lift it back past the bubble and then put it down again. It helps greatly to have a flat applicator such as a credit card to apply light pressure to the non-stick side of the protector as you are laying it down on the receiving surface.

At least one user said he threw out one protector sheet because he got dust on the sticky side. Don't do that. The stickiness is a property of the plastic that the protector is made of, not the result of an adhesive applied to the plastic. You can remove dust particles by rolling a piece of adhesive tape over them. I have found that a roll of package sealing tape works best. Peel back enough tape to encircle the roll itself, wind the tape backwards around the roll so the sticky side of the peeled tape is sticking out, and then roll the tape over the surface of the protector to pick up the dust.

Finally, many users complain about bubbles. Avoiding all bubbles is nearly impossible with a large surface, but a few small bubbles don't seem to be a problem. They look bad when the device to which you have applied the protector is turned off, but they disappear from view when the device is turned on.
