  • Summary: fantastic deal
  • Comment: I LOVE the price. After having this case, there's no way I'd spend more than $20 on a case. The few areas the case could improve just aren't worth the extra $5 to me.

I like the pockets - they've been good for helping me keep up with little things I don't want to loose in transport: stamps, receipts, a couple sheets of paper (which have to be folded in half to fit into the large pocket).
The little pockets hold business cards fine too.

The fake leather feels like ... fake leather. There's a bit of soft padding under there and it's quite pleasant. I doubt royalty would stoop low enough to use cheap fake leather like this, but they're probably not in the sub-$15 iPad case market either.

The prop stand part of the case works great. I wish it could hold the iPad at even lower angles and I wish it worked better in portrait orientation. As it is now it clearly isn't designed to hold it in portrait orientation and though it'll do it, it's quite unstable.

I also wish the case covered the corners a little better. If the device takes a fall, which it has twice since I put it in a case and started getting more casual with where I leave it, it's probably going to land on one of the corners.

  • Summary: Acase Deluxe Leather Folio with stand
  • Comment: The folio with stand is perfect protection for the ipad. No button, feature or outlet is obscured and there are elastic straps inside to hold the ipad in. On the outside is a grooved patch on one side and an easel stand on the other side. Simply fold the case open and set the easel stand into the grooved patch for hands-free non-slip table top use (in landscape position). Compared to covers Apple offers, this one is much more economical and useful. The one thing I would have liked is a handle. But I do recommend it 100%.

  • Summary: very nice ipad case
  • Comment: Very nice case, especially for the price. Looking for an ipad case I found apple cases for a minimum of 30 dollars and lots of complaining reviews. This case is ideal for me--the price is great and you can close it like a book for protection, fold the cover back to lay it flat, or open it and prop it up (with the attached stand) so I can use my ipad without holding it. Seems to hold the ipad securely. Highly reccommended!

  • Comment: Very happy with this product. Purchased for my wife's new iPad and she's used it for over six weeks now. She never removes the iPad from the case. It's nice looking and very practical. She uses the integrated flip-up stand every day.

I looked at the available cases in the Apple store when I purchased the iPad. At the time the selection was very limited and the few they had were priced around $60. I truly believe the quality of this one is every bit as high as the ones I looked at in the store... and for MUCH less money.

Bottom line - provides the protection she wanted, the stand she felt she needed. Tailored for a great fit and is a very nice looking case.

BTW - don't know if my wife's use is average but I can't over emphasize the use of the stand. She often uses it even when the iPad is on her lap. It adjusts so she can get the viewing angle she wants and is sturdy.

  • Summary: Good protection for iPad at a great price
  • Comment: The build quality of this case is good. I shopped around local stores (including the Apple Store) trying to find a case for my wife's iPad, but all the cases I found were either of noticeably poor quality or prohibitively expensive. This case is neither. It is well-built and can be had at a reasonable price. A couple of cautions: the iPad can slip out the top if you turn the case upside down without maintaining a firm grip. Also, I would personally like to see the cover have a bit more substance so as to better protect the iPad screen. I'm not saying the protection is inadequate; it is sufficient for most purposes. However, if I were going to throw this in a backpack and carry it around that way all day, I would feel better with a thicker cover. Otherwise, you can't beat this case for the price. We have not really used the stand feature, as we both prefer to type with the iPad lying flat.
